Kennen doesn't talk anymore

i play Kennen as my main champion and i absolutely adore the little guy. but recently I've noticed whenever i move kennen around he doesn't speak. quotes consisting of "yes yes yes" "from the shadows" "their final moments approach" "balance in all things" "i am the wind" His combat sounds however still exists and upon selection in the champion select he does speak. But no longer when he is moved around.

can someone help me get to the bottom of this?
