Champion permanent shard bug

okay so i just received an honor capsule and decided to open it, what was inside was a champion shard and 3 key fragments, this was a champion i already owned, luckily i had 2 other champion shards that i owned so i decided to reroll for a permanent champion i did and it gave me kayn who i was glad i just unlocked then i use the three keys to open a chest and i received the super galaxy rumble shard then i decided to click unlock permanently on the kayn shard and it said kayn has been permanently added to your inventory, but then a few seconds later a message popped up saying REDEEM FAILED! You drop in a shard, expecting a magical (and totally scientific) transformation... but instead your shard pops back out. Please try restarting your client. If this you continue to see this message please try again later; there may be issues with the service.

it had a link to the service status and when i checked it everything seemed to be okay but then i check my inventory to make see if i really didn't get kayn and for sure he wasnt there, i still have the kayn permanent shard in my inventory and everytime i try it i get that message, i have already sent a report to riot support and am just looking for a rioter to talk to about this until i get feedback on my report, and if anyone has an answer to this it would really help if someone told me fyi, this is not the real tobias fate just a fanboy
