Client Crashing When Purchasing RP

I use a Mac to run League, and when I attempt to click on 'Purchase RP' the client restarts. Saw a thread from 2 years ago but didn't want to necro.

Got the same issue on my mac, whenever I press the purchase RP button the client crashes. Its like they don't want my money, it saves me a bunch. Thanks Rito!

I'm having problems with this now as well. Also using a Mac comp to run League

They've already noticed and are working on it (click on the yellow exclamation point at the top of the page).

I don't know when it started. But wasn't there a couple days ago. The 2+ year posts were dozens of patches ago, so extremely unlikely to be related, especially since Riot is pretty quick to post when they have to disable and fix things.

Is this issue on windows as well? I'm on a mac and was wondering if downloading on my other windows will work.
