Champion select slows to a crawl

I Have been having problems with champion select since these last two patches where when i get on to champion select it slows down to the point i cant pick my champion. by the time the champions appear to be selected the the 20 second timer is 0. this has been happening a lot lately and is giving me leave buster. I would like if you would look into this and fix this cause this is ruining my rank games.
