Essence Bug

I just got a champion capsule and guess what? It contained some really good essence champion shards! I couldn't wait to disenchant them, but as i did my first one, it bugged out saying something weird about essence malfunctioning, and i lost that champion shard along with the essence. This happened more than once and its pissing me off. If anyone is having the same problem please discuss it below!
