Cannot spectate anyone after the recent update

I can not spectate any games these days. I tried several times on many friends' games. The 'spectate game' button is always grey and not even clickable. I'm not in the lobby and the problem remains after I restart the client. Can anyone help me?

Have you attempted going to the client settings and doing "initiate full repair"?
