Twitch's Ult dealing 0 damage to enemy inhibators.

I am playing and urf game and backdoor the enemy inhib as Twitch. I turn on my ult to do bonus damage, but it does 0 damage. My auto attacks damage minions but when I fire at the inhib and at the minions so it hits the inhib it does 0 damage. I then die in a failed backdoor.

If anyone wants to recreate this follow these steps.

  1. Make a solo urf game.
  2. Pick Twitch.
  3. Activate your ultimate when attacking an enemy inhib.

Intentional. They don't want you to drop inhibs or the nexus from that far away.

It's intentional as a fix to a bug where, when twitch uses his ult on a turret, it can also damage inhabit and nexuses behind them. Though if you position correctly, you can use your url to damage both nexus turrets at the same time.

Haha, this happened to me in an ARAM game once while trying to backdoor (Happened a long time ago). Used my ultimate hoping it would help but it did the opposite. Still got the enemy nexus after the ult went away :D

If this isn't a bug and is simply a way of preventing him from hitting inhibs through towers, then they should change it so it works normally once tower is down.

that reasoning is ridiculous, inhibs can't take damage anyway if the tower is still up. so if someone can't go forward and AA it, why would his ult hurt it? and once the tower's down, he should be able to ult the inhibitor and deal damage.

It's one of the only reasons I never pick Twitch has an ADC.

I've had this happen with the nexus as well

I read patchnotes where riot said that this was changed.

Ok. It should say that though.

Hope they could fix it but in all reality, urf is almost over so it really isn't that big of a deal

It's not an urf issue, twitch ult has been like this for years. I'm not really sure if it's a bug or a really crappy way of preventing twitch from killing inhibs through towers, but either way it's something that REALLY should be fixable by now.
