nautilus q is disapperaing when launched from a bush

Was playing ranked with a friend and he was going as killista against a naut. We noticed that the q was disappearing before impact almost as if the spell wasn't long enough and then snatch him. This made it extremely hard to dodge and seemed to be a bug because blitz or thresh qs are visible the entire time when they come out of bush.

i dont know if its only with that skin or not. I used the same skin that the naut from the other game

No matter the length, the hook was disappearing completely shortly after leaving bush, making it seem like it wasn't going to hit. It made it extremely hard to be dodged, as it already has an extremely wide hit box.
