New Sion Q bug?

Just an observation but it appears that Sion is not getting life steal from damage dealt by his q. Is this intentional or a bug?

Lifesteal is on hit, not on ad damage.

Well its ad damage.. and life-steal should be given for any kind of ad damage.

its an ability that isnt an auto attack modifer. if you want hp regen form it you need spellvamp
