Friend in-game, shows as "online" in friends list

as the title suggests theres a bug in my friends chat where it looks like someone is online but when i try to invite them to a party theyre actually in-game, why doesnt it show "in-game" on my friends list? pls fix

I think it's caused when they were using the lol chat app. Ask if they were using it, if you don't already know.
