[GAMEPLAY] Azir - Cannot Auto-Attack Shrooms When Soldiers Are Near Them
On Azir, if a Teemo mushroom is revealed (either by sweeper or by vision ward) attempting to auto-attack the mushrooms with soldiers nearby results in the soldier attacking animation, but with no damage being dealt to the mushroom.
- Find a location where you know a shroom is.
- Reveal the shroom with a sweeper lens or a vision ward.
- Summon a soldier (only need one), and auto-attack the shroom.
I've only come across this in one game but I'm sure it's a recurring issue as it happened very consistently in that one game. Not having soldiers near the shroom results in Azir AAing them himself, so if there are no soldiers there are no issues, but it's extremely frustrating when you happen to summon soldiers very shortly before coming across one. Obviously, you could Q the soldiers to a different location... unless you're out of mana.
I suspect it has something to do with the fact his soldiers are technically "spell damage", and once Teemo's shrooms are stealthed abilities don't hurt them. But combine that with the fact that Azir can use his soldiers to kill wards this has resulted in an interesting (and sometimes frustrating) conundrum. I don't think that his soldiers SHOULD be able to damage them after stealth, as that could result in some incidental damage to unrevealed shrooms when attacking something else, but perhaps it could be made so that his soldiers ignore shrooms similar to how they ignore towers?
Thanks Rito.
