Since last patch (8.5) when you drop Ultimate/Mythic skin you dont need do upgrade it with Essence anymore. I dropped DJ Sona tho and still need Orange Essence to make her ;c Help please.

There's a difference between a Skin Permanent and a Skin Shard.
What you probably got before was a Skin Permanent and what you have now is a DJ Sona Skin Shard. I'm no Rioter so feel free to ask them for clarity if needed, but I believe this is your case.
