Bard Ultimate Not Casting For Second Patch In A Row

Last patch in the beginning, I would click r, target where i wanted r to go, click the spot i wanted r to go, and then nothing. Didnt cast, didnt go on cool down, it just cancelled itself. Proceed to panick click it 8 more times, and nothing. Just played a game where the only cc on enemy team was riven and taric, and were half a screen away from me. I attempted to ult them from a safe distance, and "R > target > click" nothing. Again, nothing. Again, nothing. Again, nothing. Why do you hate bard, rito?
