Can't ping items in shop

For some reason I cannot ping how much gold I need to purchase a specific item. I can ping my gold using my ping hotkey (g+leftclick) and ALT+leftclick but the shop won't work for me.

I've tried the normal ALT + Leftclick but it just doesn't do anything in game. I've tried other hotkeys such as CTRL + Leftclick, CTRL + ALT + Leftclick and G + Leftclick yet still nothing.

Any ideas or help regarding this? It's quite frustrating.
