[CLIENT] Black Screen on Champion Select

I had a problem with LoL being stuck at 33% on update, so I re-installed the game (which took a mighty long time 8hrs). Then I woke up to find the game is installed and so I tried a summoner rift normal game for practice, but to my surprise I encountered a black screen on champion select - also tried running the game as admin and via admin launcher and still nothing, so I tried to repair the game and to my surprise the bug is still there, also I cannot see the masteries (which is why I tried to repair the game). So I have run out of options. Re-installing patches is not an options since is a fresh install and I don't want to wait 4 hrs for it to scan and then another 4 to download and apply patches.
