Disconnects in-game? Also, champion select lag.

I've been recently having disconnects in-game, as said above... During the disconnect, I can connect to other sites, etc, no problem. Additionally, I can wait for a LONG time, and I won't reconnect. This only seems to happen in-game, and the only way to reconnect is to close League in task manager, and then reconnect to the game again... this happens about once in every 3-4 games. It's definitely not my connection that's the problem, so... yeah, not sure what to do.

Another problem I've had is lag at champion select, which from what I've heard and seen to be true happens only when the game client has been open for a long time. I'll try to join a game, and actually join it- only to wait a good 30 seconds or more for the champion select screen to appear, during which I can still open things like the shop, or try to connect to another game (only for it to tell me I'm already in one).

Having heard of similar things (both the disconnects and the lag at champion select) I reinstalled League (this having been done fairly recently, a month or so ago). While my disconnects are much less frequent and the champion select lag is not as common anymore, it's still happening, and at least before I could connect without having to exit and reload the game...
