Hello! So, I have been playing since hextech came out, played 3 games where someone in my party received an S ranking and I've only received one chest? Is this supposed to the mechanic? I don't think its one chest per week because my husband received 3 chests in a row with S rankings in the exact same games--I'm unsure how this works. Is it a chance at a chest?

No when someone on your team gets an S rank you get a box and any win can give you a key frag..... There is a bug going on with the game not giving players chests, which they need to fix asap......
Hello Moonlit Aura, Hopefully I can shed a little light on the subject. You start with 4 chest available to be gained and they replenish once a week currently. Key fragments have a chance to drop in a game that you win.
Chest are awarded if you or your teammates get an S- or better rating for that match. You can only receive one per champion per season.
Example: Game 1 You play Thresh and someone gets an S- or better rating, you get a chest for Thresh. Game 2 You play Thresh and someone gets an S- or better rating, you do not get a chest as you already received one for Thresh. Game 3 You play Sona and someone gets an S- or better rating, you get a chest for Sona.
Hopefully this clears it up a little bit. I'm on the boards for a little bit and can respond to further questions if I am notified.

Edit: There was a Visual bug that it wouldn't show that you were awarded a chest even though you received one. If all the above is accurate for you and still not receiving, check to make sure it wasn't just a pop-up bug. If you are positive all the above was matched and you still didn't receive, write a support ticket in and they can look into it / fix things for you!
When you and only you obtain an S rank with a champion you will receive a hextech box (one per champion per season - 4 in a certain period, possibly a month?). If someone on your team gets an s rank you'll get a key fragment. At least this is how I've seen it function so far - the popup message is kinda bad clarity-wise.
Were you playing the same champion for all three of those games? if so, that would be why you only received one chest. You can only receive one chest per champion per season, so if you already received a chest while playing a certain champion, then you will not be able to receive another chest while playing that champion for the remainder of the season.
I haven't gotten a single chest all season... allthough I got numerous S rank victories... this seems to be bugged, also don't get a chest when a member of my party recieves an S rank... I am missing out on so much hextech items, its driving me crazy... plz help

Is there some kind of mark over a certain hero that show that this hero already has win one chest? And if there isn't such thing may be you need to make one, then we will know that to receive a chest need to play with another hero, and also need to show the time after we can win another chest with this hero.
