Very strange client bug after spectating in champ select... "Stop spectating" in actual champ select

I just finished spectating my friends game and we were going into champ select when it said "stop spectating" as if I was spectating someones champ select. Then the whole client bugged out when I pressed stop spectating causing all of the champions to disappear and only the chat being visible. I closed the client and waited 5 mins to get back into queue... please fix. (also my other friends were also spectating and the same thing happened to them.)
