[CRASH]

Hello. So today I tried playing some League and everything was working perfectly up until the point where I was loading into the game. It's important to mention that I play on Mac. I would pick my champion and begin to load into the game. After this I would get a white screen and then about 10 seconds later I get an error message saying that I have lost connection to the network and I should check my connection. It prompts me to select "cancel" or "retry". Cancel closes the loading screen and takes me back to the launcher. Selecting retry just gives me the white screen and the same prompt. I have uninstalled the game 3-4 times now without success. I have also tried what other people have recommended which is pressing spacebar or the enter key during the loading screen, but that doesn't work for me either. I would very much appreciate any help at all. Thanks.
