[CRASH] DirectX Error?

Earlier today I was just messing around in a custom game, waiting for my friend so we could test something in a custom. So I figured nothing was wrong, because I was in a game. My friend finishes the ARAM he was in, and so I exit my custom game. I set up a custom for the both of us, and then after champ select, I can't load in. Instead I get an error saying "An unknown DirectX error has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Please make sure your video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer." Why this would happen, I have no idea. My friend and I have basically the same computer, running Windows 7, i7 intel processor, and they aren't exactly toasters. Additionally, I don't know why this problem would occur considering I had just played in a custom.

To produce this bug, all I do is set up a custom game, and go. Even by myself I get this error.

It also occurred to me that it could just be the use of the champion/skin I had been using, but I used a different champion and still got the bug.

EDIT: I just tried to spectate a game and got the same error.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm gonna bump this because it's gotten 90-someodd views thus far and no comments and I'd really like to know if anybody else is experiencing this issue. Basically this happens if I don't shut down my computer for some undetermined amount of time.

For elaboration: shut computer down or restart computer, unknown number of days later, I get the DirectX issue again and I have to restart my computer. This is extremely frustrating when loading into a normal/ranked game and I end up being 5-6 minutes behind because I had to restart my computer so I wouldn't be afk.

Any feedback or comments would be very much appreciated. Even saying "Comment" will honestly make me feel better.
