Got disconnected from the room then received 25min waiting time !!! unfair

So I was doing ranked solo/duo with one of my friend. We were in the same lobby and entered Champ Select. During banning champs, we got kicked out of the room for 2secs ,then automatically back into the room continuing banning champs. But we couldn't select a champ to ban, it said there was a problem choosing champ bla bla bla. Other players in the room experienced the same thing as we were chatting with each other. After the banning ran out of time, my LOL screen appears black (my friend had the same issue). Nothing proceeded. We didnt even get to choose our champ. After waiting for a while hoping it will back to normal, I gave up and exit LOL. Of course it says if I leave i'll get my points deducted and stuff. I hit exit anyway. There was nothing I could do. After all I logged in again, started a new game then I was blocked from the queue for 25min..... Did anyone have the same issue with me [zombie-brand-clap] ? I mean obviously it was a technical issue but I still got penalty for that. This is so unfair riot*[zombie-brand-facepalm]*
