Client doesn't open up the first few times I try to sign in.

I get to the launcher/patcher, hit play, then nothing. I have to end the LoLClient process and try this a few times before it opens, and I'm almost guaranteed to have a graphical error or missing textures while in-game. I've tried repairing my installation and to no avail.
