Renekton Ult Bugged

So I was playing a game with my friends yesterday, one of which was against a Renekton top. All of a sudden I hear him saying he desperately needs a bank because Renekton's ulti aura won't go away.

When I looked up there, I just see a Renekton walking around, and his size and aura buff won't go away. It wasn't just a visual but either, because the aura was doing damage.

As soon as it went away, my friend went in on him and he popped ult again.

My guess is that his ult is bugged to where it won't go away until the cool down is off, at which point he can reactivate it. Not sure if anyone else has seen this but it made his lane very difficult and pretty much impossible to win.
