Gameplay, Gunblade not working as it should

So I main Aatrox, or at least I used to, I've been trying to play him again since the jungle re-arrange and I've tried building Hextech Gunblade for obvious reasons, Aatrox needs healing, Gunblade heals off of all damage, ergo perfect. Only it doesn't seem to heal at all from his active W, which is really the main point to going hybrid as he doesn't really work otherwise. Too weak in all areas really. Seems to be the same for Death's Dance, again an item that would make perfect sense on Aatrox and make him viable again but even though it says heal from all physical damage it still doesn't even though Aatrox's W is just an empowered auto attack, which can't even crit, literally the only way to make him do damage is to activate W. Anyway just a personal gripe because I like Aatrox, as a champ, but not to play it's too irritating when every item you can build doesn't work on him, it's like you just decided we all hate Aatrox and then nerfed all items only on him... I don't understand it.

Is there any chance you can stop the nonsense with Aatrox and make him work like a normal champ, make crit work too, make things that say heal from physical damage actually heal, make things that say heal from all damage actually heal and stop making him the one retarded champ that apparently can't hold a gunblade the wrong way around. May well be that I'm unlucky and my client is buggy and normally gunblade works, but it seems to be everything fails to work on him. Death's Dance heals from Yi's Q... how the hell is that fair when Aatrox performing literally an empowered auto, the same as someone else's crit but weaker, fails. Just sort it out already please.

Rant over. Thanks

You realize that he would only heal for about 30HP off of his empowered W, using either gunblade or Death's Dance.

Furthermore the amplified damage from an empowered auto attack is always incapable of critting. It's an on hit effect, the applying auto attack can crit, but the extra damage won't otherwise you'd have Trinity Force Procs dealing 200% of your total AD from the applying auto attack + 400% of your base AD, add the bonus from infinity edge and you've got auto attacks dealing 250% of total AD and 500% of your base AD. No thanks, the last thing I want to see is full crit Talon 1 shotting tanks with Noxian Diplomacy.
