IS Xin's charge supposed to go through Azir's shield?

I just played a ranked game as Azir and the enemy Xin zhao kept bursting through my shield after I ulted.

Is Xin's E (audacious charge) supposed to be able to take him through Azir's ult?

Dashes have never been stopped by Azir's wall unless it's extremely short ranged like Vayne tumble AFAIK.
