private and party chat bug

my chat has been glitching recently. lets say i send "how are you" as my first message, my second message will include "how are you" and whatever else i responded to their answer with. in addition there is sometimes a huge space between messages that i send. also, when in a party, i cannot see messages i send or messages sent to me and alongside this, my friends list goes blank, only showing the number or friends online at the present time. lastly, whenever i am in game, the game lags and in some instances, the minions freeze and when they "die" they are frozen in place and show that they have 0hp left. i do not know why this is happening or how to solve it so any reasons and solutions are greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.
