Key system glitched?
I have over 50 games played for 3 days time (my weekend) and i didnt get on key/chest, neither has my cousin that's been next to me... anyone getting this? New champs, getting S ranked... nothing

Nah I think they just lowered the drop rate even further so you ACTUALLY have to buy said keys if you want loot I always have 3 - 4 sometimes more chests but never any keys and when said chests finally open its like 75% champ shards
However bought chests seem to yield Skin shards at a higher rate.. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!

it seems like its on a rotation like chests.
You can get any number of keys, but once you hit that, you don't get more until 'x' days later.
The drop rate for key fragments is a curve, not a line. With each fragment you earn, the chance to earn your next one goes down slightly. This number resets roughly every thirty days after you earn your first key fragment.
Riot wanted to give players who didn't play as frequently a good drop rate for keys, without making it feel like farming was mandatory if you wanted keys.
Note: There's currently a bug which prevents you from earning key fragments if you're playing a champion you don't own. This is unintended, and a solution for this is being worked on.
There are a few reasons you might not earn a chest:

If you're playing a champion you don't own, you can't earn a chest.

If you do earn an S rank on a champion you don't own, allies in your premade group may still earn a chest through your achievement.

You may have already earned a chest with the champion you're playing.

You can see which champions you've earned chests with by hovering over their portraits in the Champions tab of your profile. When you earn a chest through a premade ally's S rank, the chest counts as though you earned it on the champion you played in that game.

You may have reached the chest limit for the week.
- Your profile has four chest slots, and once you've filled them up you must wait until another chest becomes available. One chest slot opens up per week; you can see how many more days you'll have to wait in your profile.

You can't earn a chest in a game if you leave that game.

You may have been punished by a behavior system recently, meaning you won't be able to earn rewards from Hextech Crafting.
