Friends' Masteries [CLIENT]

Experiencing a bug where the in-champ-select list of masteries is not my own list, but that of a friend. This occurs when I view a friend's masteries while in queue.

  1. I get in a pre-made queue
  2. I open a friend's profile and view their masteries or runes
  3. I get into champion select
  4. I open my masteries drop-down list
  5. The masteries offered are those of the last-viewed friend's
  6. Clicking on a mastery brings up error message: "Could not find a suitable error message"
  7. Selecting "Edit Masteries" button brings up my masteries and resolves issue

This has occured 3 times, which is every time I have viewed a friend's masteries while in queue

Yup, this happens whenever you check another player's mastery pages, whether a friend or random stranger. I believe this issue has existed for years.

Since you're already aware of Step 7 (open "Edit Masteries" to fix it), your other option would be opening your own mastery pages tab before entering Champion Select.

That's just a workaround until it gets solved. My guess is when the client is officially updated, this bug will likely be dealt with along with it.

Also, I recommend skipping Steps 4-6 to save countdown time during Champion Select. :P
