input delay for about 2 minutes between 6 and 10 minutes

every single game i play i get input delay on my keyboard lasting for about 2 minutes starting at 6 or 8 minutes in game. this is better than the entire input delay i used to get a week ago before downloading new drivers, but still making the game unplayable for 2 minutes every game. it's not packet loss and ive updated all drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

I've been having the same problem, not sure when it started for me cause I took a break from League for a bit. At first I thought it was my computer or internet, cause neither are very good lol. Glad to see it isn't just me though, hopefully this can get fixed soon.

Same problem here, This issue starts since a mid-patch in 9.1. But problem still happening in the actual 9.2. I reinstalled windows too, for nothing...

Another voice in the wilderness. Still crickets from Riot and the affected players are moving on to other games. Was accidentally fixed in ~patch 9.8. Returned in incremental and full on next patch. Riot doesn't GAF. I would start a ticket but I know better. I won't waste my time when I can get better support from people who didn't write the game in question. This is the only software to ever exhibit this bug for me. Keyboard and mouse always work well when I'm not playing League. I just play sporadically now, to scratch the stupid itch of bugs under the skin.

The game stopped being fun for ranged adc when they stopped being relevant in preseason. Even if you go 30-0, you must have a melee with a gap closer to counter the opposing team's 5-10 melee that can easily kill you by pressing buttons if you try to carry too hard. You can still kill, but actually feeling like you have an impact on the outcome is hard to come by. Your support has more agency there. They tried to buff the simple one-dimensional crit builds that adc are generally chained to and the sole source of impactful scaling for true ranged adc, but the damage was done long ago when they started breaking the game giving any bad melee player better and better chances to annihilate fed ads with less than one round of spells and an empowered auto, so little counter play possible to the leaps and stuns on low cd, not to mention invisibility (which has no place in a game like this) and certain melees being allowed to ignore map structure. Of course, it started long before that when they removed mana dependence and then made cd almost a non-factor with a plethora of versatile cd items for any non-ranged adc to use. Now the meta has turned into burst and snowball and adc fate is sealed. Pew Pew has become tink, tink. Sure, there's the option to remove ranged adc from the roster and bring ap scaling to the bot lane, but I'm not much interested anymore. I can ususally determine the outcome of a game just after champ select. Simple, I count melees, even tanks, because they have scaling and item build paths that can give them better than adc damage in team fights with the added bonus of being tanky. Generally speaking, If the opposing team has selected more melees, they have a better chance to win. Same for when they pick ap mage bot as having to get an mr item breaks a ranged adc's carry ability as they are so reliant on stacking those boring crit or AS items to be relevant with such crap base scaling (with a couple of exceptions)./r

Edit: I didn't know there was a rant tag in html, but I guess, it makes sense with the new "semantic" web. Anyway, Rito removed them, lol.

same here. Incredibly frustrating to see your ping normal and experience consistent input lag. Nothing i have tried fixes it and i had a feeling uninstalling wouldn't fix it. Riot is really dropping the ball

I've had the same thing happen to me in each game I've played (exclusively ARAM because of this).

So far it affects any keyboard based action, but doesn't affect mouse actions (it may cause a delay but it isn't as obvious as they keyboard's).

The delay is severe being between 1 second to about 3 seconds (per action) in the worst case.

The worst case being: trying to type - pressing enter to bring up the chat / actually typing can result in a disruption of keyboard control for a good 30 seconds if you unknowingly blind type a message out while the delay occurs.

For me funnily enough this only happens on the Normal client (where I play on NA). The PBE client does not do this.

Also this issue appeared prior to the most recent patch (what made me play almost exclusively on PBE recently).

As is with you the delay doesn't seem to stem from old drivers (I keep mine updated), packet loss, or straight up lag (performance didn't drop).
