Chat box always in Default position at beginning of game

At the beginning of every game my chat box is in the same spot with the same (default) amount of transparency. My chat box is always on the right side of my screen every time I start a game, but I highly prefer is to be on the left side and completely transparent because I feel like it makes it a lot easier to see what is going on. At the beginning of every game I have to manually drag the chat box over and make it transparent. I've been doing this for over a year probably and It's extremely irritating that I have to do it every game.

Every time I install League of Legends onto a new computer or re-install it into an older one there is this heavenly period of time where the game actually remembers my preference for the chat box and so I don't have to adjust it every game, but sooner or later it always goes back to having to be manually adjusted.

I've been looking for a solution to this problem for a very (VERY) long time and I can't seem to find one. I use my mini map on the left and I like having my chat box right above it.

Riot please fix this. It is incredibly annoying.
