Blue buff leashing issue

Had a buddy who was playing Aatrox jungle, I was Rengar top. Rengar bugs too, but everyone knows about them except Riot apparently so I won't waste time there. We're red side, bot lane is leashing blue, but blue refuses to aggro Aatrox instead of Karma, even after 5 minutes into the game where she was already in lane, it aggrod to her, so he was set behind 2 levels for the rest of the game. Opened top because this, no reason to put teammates through that much grief when they won't get a jungler since he can't clear his jungle. GG.
