The Power of the Mountain Armordillo
So. Everybody knows about Mountain Drake on PBE boosting Resistance stats, right? 8% per drakes. Now, this has a fun reaction, with another percent boost that can be applied, a certain champ who thrives in stacking ridiculous amounts of armor.
Rammus. What do I mean by a fun reaction? Now, to put it from what I'm seeing, Rammus activates W, increasing his armor by the 100% it normally applies. Then, Mountain Buff reacts to the change in armor, and applies it's 8% onto the W increase. Then W applies to the Mountain Buff increase, and the loop settles in, escalating Rammus to his place as the God of Armor. Now, it's not permanent, Rammus' W does deactivate after a few seconds, and then all the escalation goes away. However, this opens the possibility, of 6.5k Armor, and the mythical, thought to be impossible,
99% Physical Damage Reduction. Is this the power of Ultra Instinct?!? And don't go thinking "jUsT BuIlD lOrD dOmS," cuz uh, removing 35% of 6k is still not gonna do much favor. And with Conq's True dmg being removed, no AD champ can stop him. And don't say Vayne, cuz that requires autoing the 6k Armor Rammus three times. Quick math says your gonna 900 magic damage each auto, 1500 if he's got a Thornmail on top of that, so your Vayne needs to be capable of tanking 2700 magic damage at least, 4500 more likely. (Remember, if Lord Dom's 35% isn't helping like hell Rageblade's 15% would do much better) Of course, magic damage works fine as usual against him, but when he rolls in, taunts, and kills your mage faster than an assassin could? (Not to mention the 700 MR with 0 MR items, cuz W also applies to MR to an extent too)
Anyways, as a Rammus player? I love this preseason bug. Stack ridiculous amounts of armor, roll in and be capable of 1v5ing the entire enemy team for 6 seconds like the second coming of Full Build Shojin Jax. Give me a Zilean speed boost and revive and I'm basically unstoppable against most teams. Remember, Rammus is Ok as is, but do make sure to keep him in mind in the future for armor related changes. Alright? Alright.
