Ahri charm bug perhaps?

I am a long time player and this "issue" has been bothering me for quite a while now but I never really made a fuss about it after this little happening here x'D. After a charm effect ends on melee targets, their next basic attack can hit you from an unnatural distance, does anybody know what this is about? I put a video to show what I'm talking about... oh and it also happens with melee monsters as well, such as with Blue Sentinel. I would appreciate your thoughts on this :3.
