Editing runes during champ select results in client being frozen

I entered champ select at 2:48 PM (PST) and while people were picking their champs, I was trying to edit my runes. Before I got a chance to finish, it was my turn to lock-in- however, the client forced me out of the rune page and wouldn't let me lock in (or even click on anything). It ended up making me dodge the game and made me lose LP.
