Played my first game on the latest patch. Something is up with the minion waves and it leaves boxes in front of your mouse cursor. Lost a game due to a dc and this glitch. Please fix. Not sure if this was reported yet. I will continue hunting down bugs and if I come across any more I will post them here. Thanks Riot Team!
I have this issue too, here are the some details;
Server: EUW Type of Bug: Ingame Bug Description: Team-colored rectangles appear when highlighting units (both friendly and enemy, rectangle color matches team of unit) Video / Screenshot: http://youtu.be/OPZD5AaVE3I Steps to reproduce: Mouse over any (especialy closer ones) clickable unit in game Expected result: Unit will receive a slight glowing border. Observed result: Giant fucking rectangle. Reproduction rate: 4/4 times for me. Steps to solve: Repair game files, update Display Card Driver, changing Display Settings in game (disabled anti-aliasing, lowered details etc.) Nothing solved.
ok this is how i fixed it on my end.
I had used several FPS increase fixes from a post on reddit.
One of the fixes was to change your color settings in the game.cfg from 32 to 16.
Once i changed that back to 32 the bug went away.
I tried changing it from 16 then back to 32 but I'm still getting the same problem :(
Well I got same problem and have tried almost everything to fix it... I was hoping to find problem solution from reddit but I qusse everyone doesnt have that issue. I was thinkin about uninstalling game and then reinstall it, but im not sure it will help. What you guys think?
Has anyone else had any luck trying DODGEX's suggestion? Am I doing something wrong? It seems to set the value back to 32 automatically.. that's what I'm gathering from notepad++. I don't believe it's a driver issue as I have already updated to the latest the other day. I think my 780ti can handle this game just fine. I've never had any problems like this before. What graphics cards is everyone else using? Maybe we can narrow the problem down further? I doubt that would be the problem but maybe that would help Riot? I'm hoping this issue get's solved in a day or two! It interfere's with Kalistas dodge for me and these big ass squares lol
I have this same issue on NA. Once I have something selected (display in top left) IE: creeps, champs, towers - if I mouse over anything IE: creeps, tower, champs - I get a Blue/ Red box around that target.
This issue has been consistent in every game since Patch 4.20. Issue also exist in multiple game modes. Twisted Treeline & Rift Beta
I have re-downloaded the game, updated video card drivers, and adjusted every in-game video setting, issue still exist. Changing the color setting in game.cfg didn't help either.
I have this bug as well since the recent patch was deployed during the long downtime. It happens on minions, turrets and champions. If I click the object that is obstructed it goes away for a few seconds but comes back. I have upgraded to the very latest Nvidia drivers (344.75) and done a complete reinstall of League. So far nothing has helped.
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Logs may lead to a clue.. I cannot exactly remember which day 4.20 was released and I have more than a few inside the "Game - R3d Logs" folder. Giving them a quick skim I can see some errors. I don't exactly know what I'm looking at lol. I've had a long night and I'm not feeling it along side everything I'm trying to do tonight. Maybe someone else has some time to look inside theirs and see if they notice anything fishy. Whatever it is I think we would all share in common

I have a sapphire 7750HD, getting the blue boxxes on minion projectiles only. changed graphic settings, but will try taking anti aliasing off hoping that does the trick.
I'm running a triple core Asus Rig using onboard soundcard, hd audio on the videocard is disabled.
I will try the config change if my plan don't work.
