Odyssey - Unlocking augments... but slots stay locked - Captain

I have unlocked all the way up to the Captain level... I have several augments unlocked for every champion but the slots to place them in remain locked.

I have tried dragging, clicking and champ select and nothing works to choose the augments.

Please help as I love this game mode, it's just hard to pass Captain stage when I'm dragging my team with zero augments.
