Update Server Down

I have not been able to play League for the past 2 days now! All I get is this message about the "Update Servers Down". I've tried everything from restarting my PC to uninstalling the game. No matter what I do I can't get past this. The support pages are broken so I can't put in a ticket and I have gotten no response from the Riot Games Support Twitter page. Can anyone help me?

Okay, i'm not 100% sure if this will work for anyone else but I might have found the solution. All I simply did was change my routers WAN IP address (similar to using a VPN). Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone stumble across this thread.
