Cannot choose a Champion Glitch

Hello,

I was playing today and went to search for a game. There was a connection issue while in the lobby and I got a message about it. While the message was up (and afterwards) I was able to type to my teammates, but not select a champion. It wouldnt let me pick any of my champions or any of the free champions. It would not let me select new summoner abilities or change my masteries or runes. After I got kicked from the game for not choose a champion. I was then penalized for 6 minutes. Please fix this, its quite the annoyance.

Hopefully my 6 minute penalty is over now :)
