Purchase bug

Hello,

I've recently played a rengar game where I could buy the jungle items though I had NO SMITE in my summoner's spells. So I bought one , because it looked weird to me and wanted to know if it was just a graphical bug. Turns out I was able to buy the jungle item, the gold was spent, but could not see the item in my inventory and did not have any increased stats (no bonus ad, cdr% and armor pen that the item gives) and I could not refund it either using the refund button. All I had left in my inventory was a potion of health.
