Right when the tentacle appeared it slammed, not displaying a missile and slamming too fast. i also died before the animation finished. count how many steps i take before the tentacle appears and i die... am i crazy or is this just bullsh*t This is slowed down to .25%
It was illaoi's ult. It increases the speed of them slamming by 50%. The hitboxes for damage also dont appear during the ult. the animation probably just doesnt scale well enough with the damage application. especially since a good ult creates so much visual noise to begin with, that it just goes unnoticed
she ulted.
Not a bug looks like she ripped your soul out while her ult was still up. so every tentacle that appears is not a normal one but an ult and like the person said before it moves faster than normal. you also were in its range and moved back which allowed it to hit you and die. if you had kept moving forward you would have been fine.
