[Crash] Rise in champion select disconnections

Disconnecting while in champ select has been happening quite a bit more often (around 2-3 times per week) for me and it is very annoying to keep having to wait 5-30 min for a game AND losing elo in ranked. When it happens sometimes the champ select freezes for me and I cannot do anything but hope that it will reconnect, which it almost never does. I know that it is not my internet and that it is something with the game because I have tested my connection and heard from others that it has been happening to them. Does this happen to anyone else and will Riot FINALLY figure out a fix?
