[Client] Champ Select Doesn't Reconnect

So I was in ranked champ select and it was almost my turn to pick, when a lag spike disconnected me from the chat. Normally, one would expect that I reconnect after regaining connection, but then as you can see in the image provided, I was just stuck in this screen for an entire minute, even though I had perfectly normal ping during that minute. In the end, I was punished for not being able to select a champ, and lost some LP. Although the LP punishment is obviously small, the amount of time I could end up wasting from repeatedly encountering this bug worries me, so I would appreciate if this gets fixed.
