Should Yasuo's Q hit Gragas when he bodyslams?

I don't usually post on the forums but this was game changing. I was playing and 3 times during the early lane phase my Q would "Stab" right through when he bodyslams into me. Now before you guys tell me I am bad or whatnot, I'm sure of what I saw and seeing that Yasuo literally lunges his katana in front of him and a Gragas shoving his giant belly into it SHOULD make it so that he gets hit no? But not in league of legends. What do you guys think?
