Leagueoflegends.exe not responding/crash

This has been an intermittent issue over the past couple of weeks. Occasionally whenever I queue up for a match, the game itself will seem to crash with a black screen and in the processes, the game itself will go into an unresponsive state. The client however will stay fully functional, however, the game will not load into loading screen or anything. I have attempted a number of fixes myself for this, i.e. Hextech Repair Tool, Initiating a full repair, etc. Please someone help me.
