While trying to play normals in PBE, game crashes over and over

My boyfriend and I got the PBE today because he is desperate to play Pyke. We were able to play customs together but both times we have tried to connect to the draft pick games, it crashes and gives us a "network error" notification. Anyone know a fix? Is this happening to anyone else?
