Champion Select UI unresponsive [CLIENT]

After accepting a match, there are 3 possibilities I have encountered:

1. Load into champion select and play the game as usual.
2. Load into champion select and the "Accept/Decline" pop-up never goes away, preventing any interaction with the UI.
3. Load into champion select, and some elements of the UI will be unresponsive. In my experience, this was seemingly random as to what worked and what did not. Some elements that were unresponsive were the team chat, Rune selection, summoner spell selection, and skin selection.

Many of my friends that I play with have encountered the same issues, and the only solution is play with whatever runes/spells were selected from the previous game, or exit the client and get a dodge timer.
