Tahm's Kench's W makes minions disappear?

So this bug has been around for quite some time (in fact, it's been here since 's release) but thinking it would eventually get fixed, I never bothered reporting it. That being said, it's been happening all the more often recently and since it's quite annoying I thought I would report it. It goes a little bit like this ; when devouring a minion , often times the minion simply disappears without you being able to regurgitate it. I have a feeling it almost certainly happens more often with Siege Minions , especially when they're low HP , and even more so when you have a charge on your . I don't know if anyone else has experienced this before, but hopefully this post can bring some attention to the bug so that it eventually gets fixed.
