No Chests for S
I recently came back after a couple months off and have been lucky enough to get an S in ARAM with owned champs. Not chest both times. Chests are available and I own the champs... ?

Are you sure you didn't already get a chest for that champ this season? You'll get a chest if anybody on your team gets an S, not just you. Check your Champion list and see if a little chest icon is showing on the top right of the champion.
Chesticles are only once a season, new season has yet to begin. If you want more chesticles, buy more champs.
If you already earned a chest on that champion this last season then that is it for that champion since it is one chest per champion per season.
There is no bug dealing with the chests, every person I have run into claiming this always forgot one of the rules in place for how to earn them.
