Purchasing Riot Points (Don't Do It)

From what I've seen and heard, if you experience this issue, you're pretty much screwed. I've had zero help (no response at all) with this matter.

I have made several small RP purchases in the client before and hadn't had a single problem until recently. This last time, I enter in all the information that they ask and BAM! Four hours of processing. Couldn't close the client. Couldn't do anything but wait four hours. Then, the client crashes, failing to credit me with the 5000 RP I set out for. I go online to find some tech support. All I found were these forums (failures), and their email response (which I'm not entirely sure is even set up to work). I love league and want this issue to be resolved, but it seems like if you purchase something but aren't credited it, they don't seem to want to help at all. Honestly, Riot's customer support system is a massive headache and a failure. Why even have forums for problems that the community can't fix if they're not even going to look at them??

It's charged my account with the $35.00 purchase and no 5000 RP credit log even shows in the client.

If there is a fix that I am unaware of for this, please let me know asap. I don't feel like waiting 3 months for a response from Riot.
