Front End Client Bug - blank Character Select page

First time I've seen this bug but I have not been playing much since the new front end client. I queued up after playing a game and accepted the match. Everything appeared to load okay and display for about half a second before my screen went all black except for the X and the underscore in the upper right. Assuming I may still be able to load into the game I clicked randomly where the champion selection icons would be located. Ultimately it timed out and kicked me to the front end client main screen.. tried to requeue only to be greeted by a nice 5 minute lock out.

If you're going to punish people for dodging / failing to select a champ you need to be sure your bugs don't cause it.. pretty annoying.. but at least it gave me enough time to come here and complain.

Also why did you change the front end client anyway? It looks like trash now.. or is this suppose to be some throw back redesign to look like a green and gold trimmed 1990s casino game.. definitely a step backwards.
